"Originally from Greece, Eleonora Kouneni is an up-and-coming jazz vocalist and actress based in London. Eleonora started her professional music career as a singer-songwriter in Greece, playing her compositions on guitar. She performed regularly in bars in Athens and Greek islands, as well as concerts and festivals, the most prominent of which was the 16th Anti-Racism Festival (Athens, Greece, 2012), where she opened for legendary Greek vocalists Maria Farantouri and Savina Yannatou. She moved to London in her early twenties to pursue a career in music, where she fell in love with jazz. Eleonora is currently a resident artist at Jazz After Dark in Soho."
